Why do consumers think they’re so smart?

Let me speak to your manager
Have you ever worked in a position that entailed you working with the general public? Such as any retail customer related field? Then YOU must know what it feels like to run across the occasional but all too common “smart consumer”. These are a special breed of consumers the all knowledgeable about all that is ‘the customer is always right’.
Honestly, people need to RESEARCH the product they are looking for. If people would research and compare BEFORE they buy we would all be better off, you don’t need to contact a “certified sales representative” as most of them have no clue what they’re talking about and will make things up as they go to get the sale. I’ve never had to contact a sales agent to make the decision on which type of toaster I would like for my kitchen and I understand some people might not be as “tech savvy” into these things as others but does it kill you to GOOGLE it once in a while?

It’s raining plane parts in Miami, FL

A large fiberglass panel fell off an Atlas Cargo Boeing 747 this afternoon onto a local Miami Mall(International Mall) parking lot. I don’t understand, aren’t there policies and very strict guidelines that must be followed to assure this doesn’t happen on these commercial planes? The fiberglass panel measured about 17-18ft long and could have easily crushed/injured any pedestrian that could have been in its path.
No injures or property damage was reported luckily for Atlas Airlines.
